Today we are reading Proverbs 10. In this proverb we read about how our words can bring healing or pain. “The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses. When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent.” Proverbs 10:11-12, 19 ESV When have you been offended by careless words? Have you ever “stuck your foot in your mouth”? How did you make things right? Did you fix it up quickly or did you put it off? What is the most loving way that someone has apologized to you? May God make you wise in speech and filled with compassion. Pastor Tim
