Today we are reading Proverbs 1. In this proverb we learn that wisdom comes from fearing/honoring/respecting the Lord. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. For the simple are killed by their turning away, and the complacency of fools destroys them; but whoever listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of disaster.”” Proverbs 1:7, 32-33 ESV When acknowledge how limited and foolish we are, we begin to see the glory and majesty of God. When we stop being impressed with ourselves then God fills us up with His wisdom. Who has taught you wisdom? How do you impart the wisdom God has given you?
