An update on Liam. Liam is finally responding to antibiotics and the inflammation in his brain is subsiding. In the past it has seemed like he took one step forward and three steps back but now he seems to be taking three steps forward and one step back. He still has a fever so the doctors are trying to determine why. They are hoping to move him to rehab soon. He was able to say "go awa" on a special device with a therapist but he could not manage the "y". It is progress. He is not one hundred percent out of the woods yet but the odds are highly in his favor. Please pray for his recovery. His brain has suffered a lot of damage and he will probably never be quite the way he was prior to this illness but it is still much better than his original prognosis. He and his family have a long difficult road ahead so thank you for your prayers and please continue praying for his recovery and for his family.
