Philemon

Today we are reading Philemon. In this letter, Paul writes from prison and calls in a favor for someone who needs help. “So if you consider me your partner, receive him as you would receive me. If he has wronged you at all, or owes you anything, charge that to my account. I, Paul, write this with my own hand: I will repay it—to say nothing of your owing me even your own self. Yes, brother, I want some benefit from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in Christ.”
‭‭Philemon‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬-‭20‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Why is Paul asking a favor? Can you remember a time when someone called in a favor for you? Why did they do it? Are you in a position to help other people? Who does God want you to help? May God bless many people through your kindness. Pastor Tim
