How amazing is our God? How amazing is it that He not only rescued Jonah but brought the Ninevites to repentance through the prophet as well. Yes, God brought the Ninevites to repentance. The Bible is clear, even repentance is God’s work in and through us. And each time we repent, we’re reminded that it’s a ridiculous repentance because we love our sin…but each time we repent we’re also reminded that it’s ridiculous because God loves us so much, He gives us both repentance and grace when neither one is deserved!
