AToday we are reading Matthew 6. In this chapter we read about things we are concerned with. The keyword for this chapter is “me-rim-na-o”. The definition is “to be concerned for, to be anxious about, to worry”. “Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:31-33 What is it that concerns you most? What do you worry about that keeps you up at night? Your Father knows. Seek first His kingdom and the things you are anxious about will be taken care of by God! Do you trust Him? He’s got this!
