Matthew 28

Today we are reading Matthew 28. In this final chapter of Matthew we read about the resurrection of Jesus! The keyword for this chapter is “e-gei-ro”. The definition is “to awaken, to raise, to rise”. “He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.”” Matthew‬ ‭28:6-7‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Every morning we “rise” from our beds to begin our day. When Jesus was raised from the dead He began a new day giving all believers a victory over sin, death and the devil. We walk in the victory of Jesus’ resurrection. What will you do today as you take a victory lap? Pastor Tim
