Matthew 23

Today we are reading Matthew 23. In this chapter we read about Jesus denouncing the Pharisees and other religious leaders. “”O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing! See, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me again, until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'”” Matthew‬ ‭23:37-39‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Have you ever witnessed spiritual leaders guiding their people without the Holy Spirit? Have you ever seen a congregation rejecting the leadership of their Called and Ordained pastor? They are two sides of the same coin. We have a partnership in the Gospel. We must be led by the Holy Spirit and bonded by unity and love. We must pray for each other and bear one another’s burdens. May God bless us as His humble servants. Pastor Tim
