Matthew 20

Today we are reading Matthew 20. In this chapter we read about The Workers in The Vineyard, A Mother’s Request, and The Healing of Two Blind Men. In the parable of the Vineyard, the owner pays everyone the same amount regardless of how long they worked. Speaking to those hired in the eleventh hour, Jesus says, “And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing. And he said to them, ‘Why do you stand here idle all day?’ They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You go into the vineyard too.’” Matthew‬ ‭20:6-7‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Since this is a parable, no one has hired us = no has told us the Gospel! God wants everyone to receive a denarius = forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Who does God want you to hire? Where does He want you to go and find them? How do you feel about God’s generosity? May God give a desire to be generous with His riches! Pastor Tim
