Mark 11

Today we are reading Mark 11. In this chapter we read about Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, the cursing of the fig tree, the cleansing of the Temple and teaching on prayer. “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.””
‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:24-25‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Notice the connection between prayer and confession and forgiveness. If we hold something against our brother or sister we need to make it right. Who comes to mind when you read those words? What can you do to make it right with them? Should we wait to forgive them until they apologize? Notice also the connection between forgiving others and receiving God’s forgiveness. May God bless you with the courage and the words to make it right with your brother or sister. Pastor Tim
