Today we are reading Luke 9. In this chapter we read about Peter’s confession of faith. “Now it happened that as he was praying alone, the disciples were with him. And he asked them, “Who do the crowds say that I am?” And they answered, “John the Baptist. But others say, Elijah, and others, that one of the prophets of old has risen.” Then he said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” And Peter answered, “The Christ of God.” Luke 9:18-20
The question that Jesus asked His disciples it crucial. Ultimately we all have to answer that question. Who is Jesus? There are many opinions about Jesus—but only one is true. Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, the Savior of the world. There is one name under Heaven by which we must be saved—Jesus. How do you share what you know about Jesus? Do you know people who don’t know Jesus? How can you reach them? May God give you zeal for reaching the lost! Pastor Tim
