Luke 24

Today we are reading Luke 24. In this chapter we read about Jesus’ resurrection. “As they were talking about these things, Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, “Peace to you!” But they were startled and frightened and thought they saw a spirit. And he said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me, and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.”” Luke‬ ‭24‬:‭36‬-‭39‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Proof of Jesus’ resurrection was slowly acknowledged. This amazing event was beyond comprehension. Eventually, the disciples accepted it and even proclaimed it. Do you think it is easier for us to believe or the disciples? They went through all the emotions of watching Him suffer and die. We have been at least familiar with the story our whole lives. Either way, faith is given us by the Holy Spirit—it is the same miracle today or two thousand years ago. May God bless and strength your faith. Pastor Tim
