Luke 19

Today we are reading Luke 19. In this chapter we read about Jesus approaching Jerusalem. The keyword for this chapter is “klai-o”. The definition is “to cry, to weep, to lament with sobs”. “And when he drew near and saw the city, he wept over it, saying, “Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭19:41-42‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Why did Jesus weep over Jerusalem? When was the last time you wept? What caused you to weep? How do you think Jesus feels about you when you rebel and sin? May God bless you to weigh the impact of your sin before you choose it. Pastor Tim
