Today we are reading John 7. In this chapter we read about Jesus conversations with various people, including His brothers, about His purpose and identity. “Jesus said to them, “My time has not yet come, but your time is always here. The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify about it that its works are evil.” John 7:6-7 ESV Jesus says that the world hates Him. Why does the world hate Jesus? As we are serving Jesus and teaching His word, we often find ourselves at odds with the world. What are some examples of this from your own experience?
