Today we are reading John 20. In this chapter we read about Jesus’ resurrection! The keyword for this chapter is “o-ra-o”. The definition is “to see”. “Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means Teacher). Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'” Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord”—and that he had said these things to her.” John 20:16-18 ESV It is impossible to imagine what Mary felt when she saw the risen Jesus! What is the most amazing thing you have ever seen? How did Mary’s whole life change when she saw Jesus? How would seeing Jesus change your life? May God give you a vision of the risen Christ!
