Today we are reading Jeremiah 26. In this chapter we read about how Jeremiah’s life is threatened when he speaks prophecy against Jerusalem/Judah. “And when Jeremiah had finished speaking all that the Lord had commanded him to speak to all the people, then the priests and the prophets and all the people laid hold of him, saying, “You shall die!”
Jeremiah 26:8 ESV How difficult to be a servant of the Lord! Your faithfulness to God can make some people angry. Your faithful testimony may put your life at risk! Ultimately, God protected Jeremiah but he was willing to die for his faith. Are you? May the Lord strengthen you to always be faithful! Pastor Tim
