Today we are reading Jeremiah 22. In this chapter we read about God confronting the king of Judah regarding the nation’s sin. “I spoke to you in your prosperity, but you said, ‘I will not listen.’ This has been your way from your youth, that you have not obeyed my voice.” Jeremiah 22:21 ESV Prosperity can lead us away from God as we pursue material gain. How has your prosperity impacted your spiritual life? This year we have been particularly blessed! We are so thankful! What is the purpose behind our prosperity?
