James 5

Today we are reading James 5. In this final chapter James encourages us to trust in God’s timing. The keyword for this chapter is “mak-ro-thu-me-o”. The definition is “to patiently endure. The word describes the attitude which can endure delay and bear suffering and never give in.” “Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.” James‬ ‭5:7-8‬ ‭ESV‬‬ How have you learned to be patient? Has something wonderful happened in your life after a long wait? What are you currently needing to be patient about? May God bless you to be patient as you wait for His next wonderful! Pastor Tim
