Isaiah 63

Today we are reading Isaiah 63. In this chapter we read about the movement of God’s people from faith to faithless. In spite of this, God remains unmoved. “I will recount the steadfast love of the Lord, the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has granted us, and the great goodness to the house of Israel that he has granted them according to his compassion, according to the abundance of his steadfast love. For he said, “Surely they are my people, children who will not deal falsely.” And he became their Savior.” Isaiah‬ ‭63:7-8‬ ‭ESV‬‬ When you have sinned and stubbornly turned away from God, remember that the hardships you are enduring are a result of your rebellion. He, however, remains steadfast in His love for you. When you are still suffering but have turned back to God, begin to count His blessings in your life…spouse, children, friends, food, shelter, and most of all—FORGIVENESS. In His steadfast love He hears your prayer of repentance. May God bless you today with the peace that comes from knowing your sins are forgiven. Pastor Tim
