Isaiah 6

Today we are reading Isaiah 6. In this chapter we read about the Call of Isaiah to be God’s prophet. God calls Isaiah through a vision where Isaiah sees Heaven. “And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭6:3-4‬ ‭ESV‬‬ What an awesome vision! The power and authority of God is overwhelming. Why do you think God allowed Isaiah to see the glory of Heaven? What is Isaiah being sent to do? Which do you think was more impressive to Isaiah, the glory of God or the widespread immorality and idolatry of the people? May you be captivated and compelled by the glory of God! Pastor Tim
