Today we are reading Isaiah 59. In this chapter we read about how are sin separates us from God. “Behold, the Lord ‘s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear; but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.” Isaiah 59:1-2 ESV in every worship service we have a time where we confess our sins. After we confess our sins the pastor tells us we are forgiven in Jesus’ name. What happens if we don’t confess our sins? Our sins make a separation between us and God. To me it is like spiritual breathing. We breathe out our sins and breathe in God’s grace. May God bless you with the clean fresh air of His mercy! Pastor Tim
