Today we are reading Isaiah 5. In this chapter we read about the all encompassing impact of people turning away from God. “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!” Isaiah 5:20-21 ESV When we observe what is going on in our world we see a similar picture. Evil is called good and good evil. What is our response? Remain faithful. Devote yourself to the study of God’s word. Serve people as though you’re serving Jesus. Let God’s love dwell in you richly. Worship the Lord with all of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord. We are the faithful remnant of God’s people today. Pastor Tim
