Today we are reading Isaiah 49. In this chapter we read about God’s restoration of Israel. “Lift up your eyes around and see; they all gather, they come to you. As I live, declares the Lord, you shall put them all on as an ornament; you shall bind them on as a bride does.” Isaiah 49:18 ESV With these words God promises to deliver His people from even from mighty kings. Modern-day Zionists quote this passage as being fulfilled in Israel. Our fulfillment is much greater as it points to our heavenly reward! When you think of Heaven, what comes to mind? All the difficulties and struggles of this life are absent from Heaven. May God bless you to live each day with an awareness of your heavenly citizenship. Pastor Tim
