Today we are reading Isaiah 44. In this chapter we read about the folly of worshiping false god’s. “No one considers, nor is there knowledge or discernment to say, “Half of it I burned in the fire; I also baked bread on its coals; I roasted meat and have eaten. And shall I make the rest of it an abomination? Shall I fall down before a block of wood?”” Isaiah 44:19 ESV There is only one true God. Everything else is an invention of mankind. How can those who invented it ever see it as more than “a block of wood”? How can something you created ever give you something you cannot give yourself? This is the folly of false gods. Thank The Lord we are in a relationship with the true God who is able to more than we ask or imagine! May give you peace and joy today and every day in Jesus! Pastor Tim
