Isaiah 33

Today we are reading Isaiah 33. In this chapter we read about the destruction of the destroyer and the security of the righteous.“He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil, he will dwell on the heights; his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks; his bread will be given him; his water will be sure. Your eyes will behold the king in his beauty; they will see a land that stretches afar.” Isaiah‬ ‭33:15-17‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Recently I watched on television a documentary about the Conquistadors and their horrible treatment of the Aztecs and Incas. It was so sad. I know that those terrible men who brought so much pain and suffering are held accountable to God. Nobody escapes God’s wrath. But the righteous, those who believe in Jesus, will experience eternal joy and prosperity that cannot be taken away. Their sins are forgiven. May God bless you to walk according to God’s ways and please Him in all you do. Pastor Tim
