Today we are reading Isaiah 28. In this chapter we read about the Lord’s judgement against Ephraim and Jerusalem. The wrath of God is compared to the strategic activities of the farmer. Everything God does has a purpose and design. In the midst of God’s judgement and wrath we find these beautiful words. “In that day the Lord of hosts will be a crown of glory, and a diadem of beauty, to the remnant of his people, and a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, and strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.”
Isaiah 28:5-6 ESV How are these words comforting for you? How has God reassured you in your time of difficulty. May God give you a steadfast faith to be calm in the storms of life. Pastor Tim
