Isaiah 13

Today we are reading Isaiah 13. In this chapter we read about God’s wrath and the destruction of all who do evil. “Behold, the day of the Lord comes, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger, to make the land a desolation and to destroy its sinners from it. For the stars of the heavens and their constellations will not give their light; the sun will be dark at its rising, and the moon will not shed its light. I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will put an end to the pomp of the arrogant, and lay low the pompous pride of the ruthless.” Isaiah‬ ‭13:9-11‬ ‭ESV‬‬ When Jesus comes back these words will be fulfilled. While we look forward to the Day of the Lord, we also know it will be a terrible day for those who don’t believe. Who do you know that will suffer on that day? What can you do to prevent their suffering? May God give you the courage and the strength to share the message of salvation. Pastor Tim
