Today we are reading Hebrews 5. In this chapter we read about Melchizedek and spiritual maturity. “For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food, for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child. But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.” Hebrews 5:12-14 ESV In some ways I feel spiritually mature and in other ways I feel like I have a lot of growing to do! Assuming that is true for you as well—what areas do you need to grow in? What is preventing your growth? Who do you regard as spiritually mature? What is it that makes you think they are mature? May God bless you to have a hunger for His word! Pastor Tim
