Today we are reading Hebrews 12. In this chapter we read about never giving up! “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted. In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.”
Hebrews 12:1-4 ESV This chapter looks back to chapter 11 and urges us not to grow weary. What is making you weary today? How are you encouraged to think of other Christians and what they endured? Who inspires you now? I am most inspired by the Apostle Paul. He never quit. May God help you to stay strong and to keep loving people in Jesus’ name! Pastor Tim
