Today we are reading through Hebrews 10. In this chapter we read about remaining steadfast in our faith. The keyword for this chapter is “kat-e-ko”. The definition is “to hold fast, to hold down”. “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23 ESV We used to go every year to Adventure Land, a nearby theme park with all sorts of rides. When going on the more aggressive roller coasters we had to hold on tight! Life can be like a roller coaster. There are lots of ups and downs, twists and turns along the way. By holding tightly to our faith in Jesus we can survive the worst that this life throws at us. How do you hold tightly to Jesus? May God strengthen your grip on the promises in His word! Pastor Tim
