Today we are reading Hebrews 1. In this chapter we read about How God has spoken to us. “Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.” Hebrews 1:1-4 ESV Think of the various ways and times God has spoken throughout history. We have the Bible as a written record. Every time we read the Bible God speaks. A good question to ask is, “What do you want to say to me today, Lord?” Today we are reading that God spoke consistently and faithfully over time. Then He spoke through Jesus His Son. When we read the words of Jesus, we can trust them. God does not lie. What is God’s message to you today? Pastor Tim
