Today we are reading Habakkuk 3. In this chapter we read about Habakkuk’s prayer and his confidence in God no matter what happens. “Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places. To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments.” Habakkuk 3:17-19 ESV We are going through a time where many things are taken from us. We cannot do what we would like to do. We cannot go where we want to go. We cannot see who we want to see. Yet, God is still on the throne! Let us say together with the prophet, “yet, I will rejoice in the Lord, I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord, is my strength;”. May God lift up your face and look in your eyes and tell you “I’ve got this!” Pastor Tim
