Today we are reading Genesis 4. In this chapter we read about people calling on the name of the Lord. “And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and called his name Seth, for she said, “God has appointed for me another offspring instead of Abel, for Cain killed him.” To Seth also a son was born, and he called his name Enosh. At that time people began to call upon the name of the Lord.” Genesis 4:25-26 ESV It is interesting to note that after some struggles and experiences, the people began to call on the Lord. When do you call on the Lord? Do you wait until you are in a crisis moment? Imagine how you would feel if the only time you heard from someone was when they needed something from you. Wouldn’t your relationship be much more fulfilling if you had regular and healthy communication? May you look forward to your time with Jesus every day! Pastor Tim
