Today we are reading Galatians 4. In this chapter we read about the nature of our relationship with God. The keyword for this chapter is “ex-a-go-rad-zo”. The definition is “to buy out of the marketplace, to redeem, to ransom from slavery”. “But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.” Galatians 4:4-5 The idea is that we have been purchased from the ownership of the devil and now also adopted into the family of the King of Kings. This changes everything! We are no longer the devil’s slaves! We now serve our loving Heavenly Father! May God bless you with the joy of your salvation! Pastor Tim
