Galatians 3

Today we are reading Galatians 3. In this chapter Paul repeatedly writes about faith versus works. The keyword for this chapter is “stau-ro-o”.  The definition is “to crucify. The perfect tense indicates a state or condition and stresses the abiding significance of the event.” “O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified.” Galatians‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭The fact that Jesus was crucified has a constant and continuous impact on us as believers.  The result is that we are saved by faith in what Jesus did and not by what we do. Why is it hard for us to remember this?  Do you live as one who is saved by what Jesus did? Do you give grace to others?  May God bless you and touch every part of your life with the reality of His crucifixion!  Pastor Tim
