Galatians 3

Today we are reading Galatians 3. In this chapter we read about works of the law versus grace as the way of salvation. “For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.” Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for “The righteous shall live by faith.””
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:10-11‬ ‭ESV‬‬ What rules do you live by? As you think about your daily life do you keep score of the good things you do? Sometimes we are tempted to look at our good list and congratulate ourselves! This is what the Jews were doing in Galatia. Not only that, they also looked down on others who were not doing the same “good things”. How are you tempted to look down on others? Do you think they “pick up” on it? How would that be a roadblock to sharing your faith? May God bless you to love your neighbor as yourself. Pastor Tim
