Acts 8

Today we are reading Acts 8. In this chapter we read about the scattering of the disciples in reaction to the martyrdom of Stephen. “And Saul approved of his execution. And there arose on that day a great persecution against the church in Jerusalem, and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. Devout men buried Stephen and made great lamentation over him. But Saul was ravaging the church, and entering house after house, he dragged off men and women and committed them to prison. Now those who were scattered went about preaching the word. Philip went down to the city of Samaria and proclaimed to them the Christ.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭8:1-5‬ ‭ESV‬‬ So those who scattered did not just run in fear. They ran with purpose! Everywhere they went the preached the Gospel. Where have you been? Where have you lived, traveled, visited etc.? Where have you preached the Gospel? True Christians who love Jesus preach the Gospel everywhere they go. May God speak through you to everyone you meet.
