Acts 20

Today we are reading Acts 20. In this chapter we read about Paul leaving Ephesus and visiting the churches throughout Macedonia and Greece, concluding his journey in Miletus with the elders from Ephesus. “And now, behold, I am going to Jerusalem, constrained by the Spirit, not knowing what will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that imprisonment and afflictions await me. But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭20‬:‭22‬-‭24‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Paul is continuing his ministry even though he knows full well it will lead to his death. Have you ever risked your life for a cause? Paul did all this, with the power of the Holy Spirit, for the Gospel. His great sacrifice and work spreading the message of Jesus has produced a spiritual legacy through which we are richly blessed today. What legacy are you leaving? Pastor Tim
