2 Timothy 4

Today we are reading 2 Timothy 4. In this chapter we read Paul’s parting instructions and comments regarding his service to Jesus. “For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.” 2 Timothy‬ ‭4:6-8‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Paul’s words of conclusion are often read at funerals. How is your faith life similar to Paul’s? How do you want to be remembered? What are you doing now to make an eternal difference in someone’s life? May God give you strength to fight the good fight!
