Today we are reading 2 Thessalonians 2. In this chapter we read about standing firm in our faith. “So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.”
2 Thessalonians 2:15-17 ESV What can you do to make sure you stand firm? We don’t have Paul among us but we have his 13 letters. We don’t have the disciples among us but we have their writings. God has given us His Holy Word. This is the only sure and certain guide for our faith. Standing firm means studying God’s word and obeying it.
