Today we are reading 2 Samuel 23. In this chapter we read of the final words of David. “”The Spirit of the Lord speaks by me; his word is on my tongue. The God of Israel has spoken; the Rock of Israel has said to me: When one rules justly over men, ruling in the fear of God, he dawns on them like the morning light, like the sun shining forth on a cloudless morning, like rain that makes grass to sprout from the earth.” 2 Samuel 23:2-4 ESV We must always pray for our leaders. We must pray that they rule justly and in the fear of the Lord. Only then will they be a blessing to us and to our country. May God fill our president with the Holy Spirit to do only what is pleasing to God. In Jesus’ name! Pastor Tim
