Today we are reading 2 Peter 2. In this chapter we read about the work of false prophets.“But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.” 2 Peter 2:1-3 ESV The fate of false prophets is Hell. They deserve this punishment because by their lies the lead others away from God to Hell. We need to take every opportunity to teach the Good News of Jesus to everyone we meet. We begin with praying specifically for those who have turned their back to God. In our prayers we ask that God would speak to them and restore their faith. Never give up! Pastor Tim
