2 Kings 13

Today we are reading 2 Kings 13. In this chapter we read about God’s patience with His rebellious people. “And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he gave them continually into the hand of Hazael king of Syria and into the hand of Ben-hadad the son of Hazael. Then Jehoahaz sought the favor of the Lord, and the Lord listened to him, for he saw the oppression of Israel, how the king of Syria oppressed them. (Therefore the Lord gave Israel a savior, so that they escaped from the hand of the Syrians, and the people of Israel lived in their homes as formerly.” ‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭13:3-5‬ ‭ESV‬‬ When has God allowed you to be in a position that required patience? How has God helped you as you exercised patience? Who is the most patient person you know? In this passage, God uses an idolatrous king to save His people. God often sends us people to walk alongside us as we need strength and support. Who has God sent to help you with your troubles? Pastor Tim
