2 Corinthians 4

Today we are reading 2 Corinthians 4. In this chapter we read about unseen riches. “So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭ESV‬‬ As we age, it seems like we are losing everything. Is that true? We lose our strength, our memory, our dexterity, our energy, our hearing and our sight. What are we gaining? Are these things gone for good? What we are gaining is that ever so slowly we are inching closer to eternal joy with new and glorified bodies. Heaven is ours! May God bless you to focus on what is eternal and to accept the loss of what is not. Pastor Tim
