Today we are reading 2 Chronicles 31. In this chapter we read about the continuing reforms of Hezekiah. “Thus Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and faithful before the Lord his God. And every work that he undertook in the service of the house of God and in accordance with the law and the commandments, seeking his God, he did with all his heart, and prospered.” 2 Chronicles 31:20-21 ESV What would you say you do “with all your heart”? This is an important question. We would like to say we do everything with all of our heart. Sometimes we fall short. Hezekiah did all these wonderful reforms to get people back to worshipping the one true God. He began with the priests and Levites. Next, he focused on the Temple and a national event. Finally, he sent the priests and Levites throughout the country to destroy everything connected with the false gods. God blessed him greatly for serving with all his heart.
