Today we are reading 1 Timothy 2. In this chapter Paul emphasizes godly living as we teach the Gospel. The keyword for this chapter is “me-si-tays”. The definition is “mediator, go-between”. “For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.” 1 Timothy 2:5-6 ESV Paul makes the point that Jesus is the one mediator between us and God the Father. Jesus reconciled us to God by paying the debt of our sin when he died on the cross. How does it feel to know that you are debt-free with God? How does God want you to act toward those who have sinned against you? Is there someone that God wants you to be a mediator with? May God bless you with a spirit of reconciliation. Pastor Tim
