Today we are reading 1 Corinthians 6. In this chapter we read about God’s response to a variety of sins including sexual sin. “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 ESV It is important to remember that God is Holy and Righteous. He establishes what is right and what is wrong. As servants of God we must submit to His judgements. Every person sins and is in desperate need of God’s forgiveness. The Good News is that God offers us forgiveness in Jesus’ name. May God keep you in His Grace as you confess your sins and walk according to His ways. Pastor Tim
