1 Corinthians 5

Today we are reading 1 Corinthians 5. In this chapter Paul writes against sexual immorality. “Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Let us therefore celebrate the festival, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭5:6-8‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Have you ever noticed that that bad attitude of a few can influence the attitude of many? Within the church God calls us to confront the sin and protect the church from it’s influence. What can you do to confront sin in our church? How can you help us to not be influenced by bad attitudes? How do you reign in your own bad attitude, when you start down that path? May God bless you to be a peacemaker. Pastor Tim
