1 Corinthians 13

Today we are reading 1 Corinthians 13. In this chapter we read about the importance of what is behind everything we do as Christians.  The keyword for this chapter is “a-ga-pay”.  The definition is “Iove”.  In the Greek language there are a number of words that are translated as “love”. This particular word is used to refer to God’s love for us and the kind of love He desires for us to have for Him and for each other. “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:4-8‬ From this chapter we see that love is doing good things for someone else because Jesus first loved us. How has someone shown this Christian love for you? What form does your Christian love take? May God bless you to experience His love today and to live His love in all you do! Pastor Tim
