Today we are reading 1 Chronicles 23. In this chapter we read about the organization by David of the priests serving in the Tabernacle and Temple. “The divisions of the sons of Aaron were these. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. But Nadab and Abihu died before their father and had no children, so Eleazar and Ithamar became the priests. With the help of Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, David organized them according to the appointed duties in their service.”
1 Chronicles 24:1-3 ESV David was very detailed in his organization of all things related to the Temple. What does this say about David? In our worship we are very detailed also. We plan the services and who will serve. How do you participate in worship planning and execution? Is there a way you can be more involved? How dedicated are you to worshipping God?
